I wonder if ultimately he decided to reject the idea of changing orientation and as part of that he got fired up against the idea of conversion therapy and so filed a complaint. I don't know if conversion therapy is such a good idea, but it seems to me there are alot of therapies (not just psychological) that don't make sense to me but some people claim it benefits them. Maybe the answer here is if you don't want conversion therapy don't get it.
