Have you seen what a tennis ball looks like after spending 11 months up in the tree, in our lovely Pacific Northwest Climate?
She should switch to rubber duckies instead, they're fun, colorful and worked even for NASA

Did you read the article? These soldiers are currently in W-I-S-C-O-N-S-I-N, does this sound like a war zone to you??
Don't you remember how it felt, waiting for your first deployment? Their job will be removing roadside bombs in Afghanistan. For a year. Any sane person would still fear or worry deep inside, no matter how brave/badass he or she is, now on top of that imagine soldier's loved ones left at home, all they can do is support, hope and pray.
Now they are unexpectedly given time they can take off before their dangerous mission, go home and spend Christmas with the loved ones. Do you really think money would matter to them at this point, if they had it? Would they still waste precious time and wait till someone donates??? Hell no.

Nowadays it seems like most [News Agencies] hear something from bloggers and go from there. Maybe, KATU should start browsing other news sources besides local police reports, don't you think so?

I completely understand Oregonians reporting to KATU something local, sharing photos their reporters weren't there to take, but being on top of National and World News is their job and I'm afraid, if you and I start helping here and there all the time, someone might end up joining the unemployed.

The report did not mention anything about people being inside the house (even simple "no one got hurt" would do the trick), as well as there's nothing said about the animal acting aggressive towards humans.
I saw this as an extremely creative, very curious (and probably hungry) little fella getting a little too carried away at his exploring.
"State wildlife officials" are the scary ones here, not the bear.
