if you have your shsh files on file then you should be able to restore to 3.1.2

it is only possible to go to a firmware version that is being signed by apple or that you have saved, the iphone will not accept anything other than this, that is the point of sauriks shsh server, if you have shsh files for your iphone then you can restore to 3.1.2

Yes if they have the newer bootrom but still have the shsh files they can downgrade and then jailbreak on 3.1.2 but not 3.1.3

yes but you have to have the shsh files on file with saurik in order to downgrade

if she has her shsh files one file with sauriks server she can use those to restore back to 3.1.2 and re-jailbreak
edit: woops 3g doesn't have shsh files so you should be able to just restore to 3.1.2 and jailbreak from there

if you have your shsh files on file with cydia you can restore to 3.1.2 and then use pwnage tool to upgrade to a pwned 3.1.3
