Loca, where do I even start? You got it right, most churches do not follow the true teachings of Jesus Christ. All churches operate not on Godly traditions, but on the traditions established by men. Absolutely everything has been corrupted even the churches. I woke up one day and wanted to understand how things got so twisted. One of the things I started studying was the the Bible and early Christianity. I soon realized that what I had been taught in my church was a complete fairytale. Had I not picked up that book and studied the history I would have remained in blindness. I also realized that all 3 major religions Christianity, Islam and Judaism had all diverted from the true teachings and they had also lied in one form or another to their followers. What made me think like this, nothing is new under the sun, power, greed and money still corrupts The Bible is a written roadmap for us on how we should live our life. If we followed it we would be blessed and things would go well for us. If we turned from it we would be cursed and awful things would happen based upon following the rule of man and not God. God foretold his children things that were going to happen in advance so that they would be warned and so that they would have no fear. What God says will happen will happen, he does not lie and he does not change. Reading the Bible takes away the fear and gives you the peace of the holy spirit. Nothing compares to it. That's how it feels for me. We are not to try to change certain things because God does have a plan and he wants us to not be afraid, to be prepared and watchful. You don't have to go to any church to learn about the Creator. Just get yourself The KJV Study Bible and read it and see what happens. Also something you need to realize, God told us that because people would rather believe a lie than the truth, he would give people a spirit of stupor, in other words blindness. He would deliberately cause them to be blinded. So no matter how much we scream and yell to wake people up it may not be HIS plan. I know, neither my husband or three children believe anything political or spiritual I tell them, so I quit trying. Do you know how frustrating that is for me when my own family thinks I am nuts?

Read the book, it is always better than the movie and the movie always leaves key things out.

Hi Loca- You are what is called a watcher. During the time of ancient Israel they would post watchers along the walls who were supposed to sound the alarm when danger approached. I for one appreciate your diverse scope of interests and your bringing them to our attention. Sounding the alarm is all we can do and what we are supposed to do. Many times I just come to read a few posts to keep current, but don't have time to really talk. Don't become discouraged and DON' T STOP.
