Oh, I see. It didn't bother me that much.
I mean, sure I would have liked to know how they met and all, but that's about it, I saw them as tools for Kirito's character development (who's still pretty bland for a main character, the guild members had more personnality) so once they accomplished their purpose, they died, I found it quite the logical conclusion. Kirito is a solo player after all, and I don't think it'd be too interesting to follow a solo player leveling up for one year.

I guess they skipped the fighting scene because low budget?

I didn't really mean to watch it, but then I heard good things abotu the anime so I went ahead and tried it out.

I'm not sure many things will happen in it since it's a slice of life after all but it's cute and not boring despite everything so ..

A series adapted from an otome game never sounds pretty cool to me, I always expect at the very least an annoying female protagonist and a boring plot.
Sometimes I'm proved wrong but it's really rare.

So I usually watch for the seiyuu

It doesn't really seem like it needs a story, as long as they keep up with those entertaining and itneresting characters

I am a big fan of Aoi Bungaku, I love the different interpretations the directors could come up with and how each character designer influenced the atmosphere of the story.
