Great review. I think the greatest thing about Psycho-pass was its attention to details. Many things were subtly teased all through the show. For example, like you've mentioned, the contrast between reality and hologram was ironic. I was also interested in the new illness that happened when people have been stress-free for too long.
I didn't know much about the reference to literature and philosophy used in this show so I could not say much about that.

It's a shame that Fam failed to live up to the originals.
To me, when Alex and Delphine died, it found nothing that really attracted me any more.
Still, I'll watch this series when I am free :)

I can also related to the situation you faced in high school.
I used to be in the top of my class during elementary and high school as well. But in the university, I often fell to the normal level. For many times I've struggled to reach the top. Sometimes I succeeded, sometimes, I failed. Now, as I am facing another exam but I am much more relaxed. Maybe I've finally grown up a bit?

Concerning blogging, I am similar to you in that I am comfortable with my own pacing. I see lots of bloggers struggle to excel in the tourney but I suspect that they can't be very happy about it. Love the post, by the way :)

The hardest part for me is time; since I am one of the Med people and I am naturally exhausted all the time. Especially when there were exams or deadlines (like right now), it hard to find time to maintain blog and to fight off the guilty feeling of abandoning work for blogging.

Another thing, it is also hard to stay true to the main subject especially for a solo blogger like me. Sometimes I have the urge to write about non-anime stuffs but decide to put them off lest my blog lose focus.

Writing strong and unique opinion is essential for solos blogger like me and you. Solo blogger cannot usually afford a daily or even weekly(that's me) posting so we have make some impact when we do.

As a fan of the original series and who have seen the first 2 eps, I tell you that all the six points are all true :)
Nevertheless, many characters had similar traits to the original cast.

You raised many interesting points there. Seanver does have many non-blogger readers. I have no idea how many I have. I get quite sizable daily hits but most comments come from fellow bloggers...oh **** now I am in trouble!
