I can't even hardly pick. For me, it's Out of Gas or Ariel - the Hands of Blue men were terrifying and needed more screen time than they got. And it was awesome seeing Simon show up Core doctors, and River's first bit of badassery.

I'm so sad I'll be missing you when you're in Minneapolis! Goddamn school :/ anyway, Firefly is my favorite EVER. The female characters are so well-developed, which never happens ever. And I love that Kaylee can be simultaneously FUCKING BADASS as a mechanic and the sweetest person ever -she's basically who I'd be. AND she's extremely sex-positive, open about her own desires and sexuality and never judgmental of Inara. And Wash and Zoe are my OTP...I like that she can be the baddest of badass soldiers and Wash can be supportive of her while never being portrayed as "emasculated" or "whipped" - he's just good old witty adorable Wash. Their relationship just is perfect.

I love Kyoko's backstory. It's so crushingly sad, and explains her so well. EVEN DOWN TO THE ALWAYS-EATING. You can really understand why she's chosen not to think about others, when she herself is in so much pain.

None of these girls' wishes have been going well, have they? Aside from Mami's, which did save her life (only to kill her later </3 all the SADNESS).

／人◕‿‿◕人＼ SWEET JESUS KYUBEY IS TERRIFYING. I knew he was creepy as fuck but didn't realize the extent to which he was PURE EVIL INCARNATE. No seriously why would he not tell them any of this. Why is he trying so hard to get all of the (especially Madoka) to make the contract. WHY.

Anyway, "Us adults feel pain all the time. It's why we're allowed to drink alcohol." Can I just say how much I deeply love Madoka's mother. I love that she's a badass business woman and that Madoka's dad can stay at home with the kids. LOVE IT.

KAMIJO. I felt so sympathetic toward him all this time, because the portrayal of his depression was so true to life (in my own experience anyhow) and he plays violin and it was all so sad. AND THEN HE DIDN'T EVEN TELL SAYAKA HE WAS GOING HOME.

Kyoko is always eating and somehow it just makes me smile. Like, if I were battling witches/other magical girls, I would totally be snacking also (especially on Pocky! WHAT).

SAYAKA. MADOKA. SOUL GEMS. FEELINGS. AHHHHHHH WHAT IS THIS SHOW.
