“They are, in essence, warriors for Israel."

Exactly — for ISRAEL, not for Netanyahu.

The article is a straightforward account of the actions of the Israeli police — by the highly reputable Jewish Telegraph Agency. But to clownservatives, facts are a left-wing conspiracy.

The answer is simple: If you support Bibi, don't go, if you oppose Bibi, go and vote twice.

Whatever damage this stunt causes to Israel is of no concern whatsoever to Bibi. All that matters to him is getting re-elected. If he is, he will consider this a brilliant maneuver.

Like everything Bibi does, this is good for him and bad for Israel.

This is childish. Of course Obama is your president. Just like Nixon and Reagan and the first Bush were MY presidents even as I loathed their policies. The only exception to this is the second Bush, who was neither my president or yours since after all the winner of the 2000 election — including in the state of Florida — was Al Gore.

We all know the REAL reason Barack won't be seeing Bibi — there's no room in the White House large enough to accommodate Netanyahu's enormous chutzpah.

I neither applaud nor condemn the absence of references to Jewish participation in Selma the event in "Selma" the movie. A two-hour historical film has to cut some things out — in the book "The Longest Day," author Cornelius Ryan didn't include every thing that happened in the first 24 hours of the liberation of France and the movie version left out even more. The decision by the makers of Selma to focus on the central role of African-Americans in that legendary struggle was an entirely defensible decision. Doing a 180 degree revision of the history of LBJ's part in the protests is something else again — indeed, considering how that turned out, perhaps we should be grateful there were no Jews in "Selma."

Given San Francisco's political leanings, Geller can't be expecting to change many minds. She'd have more success with an ad on a bus in Mississippi — but of course, that would be less likely to get her name in the news again, and THAT is what this is really about.

For the Forward's resident clownservatives, downrating things that upset them is their equivalent of the five-year-old who tightly closes his eyes, puts his fingers in his ears and yells "LA!LA!LA!LA!LA!LA!" in the hope that when he stops the thing he doesn't like will have magically disappeared.

The fact that this never works never stops them from trying — and unlike that five-year-old, they'll never outgrow it.
