*This* is how you win on the internet.

From the description here, it really doesn't sound like it has anything to do with the original Lorax story. Any similarities to the original characters seems almost accidental.

Well, obviously people that aren't of a religion are going to find adherence to said religion silly, or else they'd be part of that religion already. I find every belief system besides mine to be utterly ridiculous, including yours.

"sit around and hate..."

You are such a hypocrite, the very fabric of reality cracks a little more with each key that you type.

I'm not really a huge Santorum fan myself.

In fact, the only reason I'm voting Republican at all is because each of the candidates has pledged to do everything in his power to destroy Obamacare.

The implication that Santorum wants to turn the US into a theocracy is, in fact, bringing up religion.

I look forward to seeing some Obamaphile moderator bringing up religion during the debates. Easy lay-up for the Republican nominee.

It pains me to reply to what I sincerely hope was hyperbole with a serious analysis, but I'm bored, so:

Only 15% or so of the households in the world own a television. If a third of the people in the world are Christian, and around half of those Christians are Catholics, that means that roughly 15% of the people in the world are Catholic. Assuming that every single person that owns a television has a working knowledge of Nicki Minaj (which can't true, because I own a television and yet have no idea what a Nicki Minaj is), then, Nicki Minaj is equally as relevant as the Catholic Church.

The only way to make a decent Ghost Rider movie is to make it dumb. Ghost Rider is inherently dumb: it's about a guy on a motorcycle with a flaming skull for a head. This is pure 14-year-old male power fantasy at its most transparent. Trying to make Ghost Rider into something relatively highbrow for a superhero flick, like Batman Begins, would entirely miss the point.

Yeah, RLM did an excellent job of illustrating why the film is fundamentally broken. The moment the Trade Federation tried to murder Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, the film stopped even trying to be coherent.
