Got it, mine is not an issue of manhood, it's an issue of futility I guess, your point is well taken about the web master though....I wont pretend to know what's been going on here for the long term and appreciate your not only having been here that long but your persistence with your point and ability to continue making it. I will digress on the whole leadership thing as I agree with you that the ideas and people need to be organized so that none are lost rather than have them be piled into oblivion by other posts. I
Is it not true though that the webmaster controls the site? I'm with you on the organization thing Bo but what does a straw man "panel" do if it cant organize the website anyway? As you know I (only been here a few days although I have been following Glenn for a long time) think "leadership" is a horrible idea. If anything let volunteers do whatever needs to be done for the cause without a vote. Let the real work be done in the states and districts with this site being a guide and a meeting point like a lobby in a big building with a help desk assigning each individual to their local group.
I agree 100%, I have no problem being a servant of the people in fact I would prefer it, that said, I also would rather have many regional voices (as laid out by the House of Representatives) than to have one voice that albeit might be loud does not represent the values of many at first and then of most later.....kinda like what's going on now with whoever is in congress be it GOP or the Dems....both are driven by money and agendas and neither in their current form represent anyone because they are busy trying to represent everyone. If however your one voice is a temporary one for the moment to yell "STOP THE SPENDING" until we wrest control, well then I'm certainly down with that.

Absolutely true, this is fantastic. The fastest and easiest way to defeat enviro-fascism and free up the natural resourses of the states.
It is not in my intrest to offend or upset anyone in saying this, I just don't see what it accomplishes and I for one am very leery of any new national group forming that is going to eventually ask for money. It would occur to me that national groups and national monies are the problem as their influence usurps the will of the people at a local level through campaign spending and the spread of untruths about candidates, and at the national level by forcing candidates to be loyal to the party rather than to his/her constituants.
I might suggest that if we were to have "leaders" on this site we might be more likely to call them "custodians", someone to guide individuals to their local 912 charter (it has been my suggestion that we organize by Congressional House District and then further by community from within) so that we can get to the real work of taking over our government from the ground up. Having a leadership here to me seems to be an excersize in futility. I could be wrong however I can't seem to come up with any reason for it other than to feed people's egos.
Erika, thank you for your time and efforts first off. Other than the collection of information, what is the purpose of your panel? May I suggest adding to it's purpose to start some kind of a framework to filter/funnel people to their local states, districts, and communities? I am of the opinion that that is what we are really lacking to get this movement going. Many people are aware of the issues and come here looking for a place to be able to act and their efforts are lost because their energies are left unfocused. I will abstain from further comment on this post until I have seen your response.
The answer does not lie with this site, it is a great forum for us to get on and communicate what we are doing locally, however an elected "leadership" doesnt solve anything here. Many of us are working to organize on the state or local levels to work our communities. What is striking to me at least is the apathy that still remains in the community at large. I live in a conservative voting area in my very liberal state and still in my district barely 1/3 of the people normally vote and of those who do many voted for Obama and don't have a clue or the desire to get one about what is happening right now.
