A new FF game, how exciting! Wasn't sure what your next move was going to be after the long road of mainline games came to an end.

I played this one about a year or so ago and really enjoyed my time with it. Seeing this has actually got me itching for a replay. I hope you enjoy it!

.Thanksgiving isn't a thing over here, but Black Friday is, and I've been taking advantage of some of the sales to get gifts for family.

Ooh no I love paprika, I use it in a bunch of things. My Hungarian grandmother used to bring me some as a present lol

Hey! It's been a while since I've commented but I have been keeping up with all the FFXV updates all the way till the end. I did read this post at the time but am only getting round to commenting now.

What a journey! Congrats on finishing XV, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I loved it too.

And HUGE congratulations for finally finishing the entire freaking series!!! Again, this feels like it's been a huge journey and I've only been riding along for a small portion of it (started following during the Revenant Wings/Tactics Advance/A2 era... 2, 2 and half years ago?... idk). I genuinely got emotional reading your parting thoughts on both XV and the series as a whole, and I've just been watching along, so I wonder how you must have felt!

And even though I have since gone back and read pretty much all your posts for the older games, I just wish I'd been around then to experience them as you went along as well, then the payoff would have been even sweeter...

Well, congrats again. I have always loved this series and it has been so wonderful experiencing it from a new perspective through your posts.

I'll also reserve a small congratulations for myself, for having also finished off the entire main FF series so now we can both call ourselves FF experts :P (although you've still played more of the side games than me). But I have you to thank for this, as I think in part you motivated me to want to tidy up some of the remaining FFs that I'd either never played or never finished; almost like I needed to 'catch up' to you. I guess I'm quite competitive! I remember in particular playing Lightning Returns partly because you were due to start it soon so I felt the need to finish it before you so I could read your posts without spoiling myself :D

But also I believe I've finished II, III, V, XIII, XIII-2, XV all in the last 2 or so years since I've been following. I did of course enjoy them all (well, except for maybe II) but it was also very satisfying to finally finish every main FF entry.

Anyway. Thanks for the good times, I hope you had fun too. And I look forward to whatever comes next! I know you're playing FFVIIR but I haven't played that yet myself so shall be avoiding you for now :P but yeah, there's still more FF out there! I actually played Type-0 recently which I don't think you've played? So I'd definitely recommend that as an option. Or, you know, play literally anything you want and I'll probably lurk at the very least :P

Thanks! And huh, I've definitely done that quest, but my encounter was something different... yep, definitely no Reaperking in my Bestiary. Clearly not every playthrough is the same!

And I think I'm now a fair bit ahead of you hehe ... enjoying it a lot so far! And as ever I really enjoy following your posts and comparing your thoughts to my own.
