Well, they have a little more of an extreme friendship than Yamazaki and Satou but I agree with you. Throwing the younger attractive, but strange girl into the mix didn't help how much of Welcome to the NHK I saw in this show. But that's not a bad thing.

There's two things that I don't like about YtM. One is that every time Adachi has her hair down she acts like a different person, Shinagawa is stupid he's not going to be able to tell. The other is that the current translations to actual releases schedule is about 1:2. There's nearly double the amount of chapters released in Japan then has been translated. Makes me sad................
Also that drama looks awful, which is too bad because GTO had a great drama.

I don't remember her turning demon quite so often in the manga, or at least to such an extent. I also find it hilarious that Suzuna appeared more in episode three than she has in the entirety of the manga.

........God the uniforms are ugly.................

Don't worry, there is no reason for you not to watch this anime (other than the art) because it doesn't mock football at all. There is such a term as "Giant Killing" in football, hence my lengthy definition at the top of the page. And yes it does happen rarely. Mind you, "Giant Killing" doesn't mean that they have to win the FA Cup, it just means that a lower team defeats a higher team, something that the FA Cup was created for. Also, in 1989 Sutton United beat Coventry which is the definition of a Giant Killer, as Sutton plays in the Isthmian League (A league that's two leagues lower than the second division) and Coventry was in the Championship.

I can't imagine that he'll sell Gino on, or that Gino will want to leave simply because Gino is an amazing player. I have no idea why he has loyalty to ETU, I think that this will be a major part of Gino's character is why he still plays for ETU when he could easily be playing for a team like Tokyo Victory.

Oh, it is a Japanese Maple tree. And there is a difference between the leaves of a Japanese Maple and a Canadian Maple. Canadian Maple leaves have three big divisions while Japanese Maple's have five smaller divisions. Canadian Maple leaves also have a lot of very tiny division among the main ones while the Japanese divisions have jagged edges. I prided over it because the leaves were bright red like the Canadian flag. Also, when someone says "Maple Leaf" do you think of Japan or do you think of the overrated Toronto hockey team?

I want to know why Hattori added "-sama" at the end of Akito's name. Seems a bit odd for him to be calling him such a high class name. But then again we still don't know much about Takagi's home, do we? I don't recall ever finding out about his parents or how he was raised. Did we see his parents at his wedding?
