A1 and Yuki Kajiura plus an interesting looking Idea.
Normal is overrated. That said Taiga's reason for not filling out the form was great. Ami's feeling guilty for what she "caused" Taiga is one of the turning points in the character. That moment in the street between Ryuuji and Taiga was one of the amazing scenes that happen between the two that shows they were made for each other. The use of Valentine's Day as more of a comedy episode in an episode that is so focused on the romance is an interesting choice. Taiga using Ami as a way to force sales out of the people was funny, also working for Yasu's sake was really nice of Taiga and Ryuuji. The final scene is absolutely breathtaking no matter how many times I see it from the Minori's telling Taiga the truth about who saved her all the way to the fade to the ending with Ryuuji's answer. As usual, music is fantastic during Minori's breakdown and the others standing there to make Ryuuji and Taiga finally admit their feelings. The English Cast really impressed me in this final scene.
The Girl Who Lept Through Time
Everyone praises how well written Ami is all the but in this rewatch I feel I remember why I like Midori so well the first time, the level of jealousy that Ami feels when Midori tells her she has finally made a decision was great. I feel Ryuuji's mom is a pretty underrated character she is easily one of the better parents in Anime. The continuation of Taiga's confession was emotional and great as well as Ryuuji trying to deal with it all and his own feelings. We got a few episodes left and they only get more intense from here. "Lost My Pieces" is a great musical piece as always used so well by the series.
