Hi there Citrus! Thanks for stopping by. And I agree, Monday has its uses for SOME people. Just not me. I live in my own little world.

=)

LOL. I do suppose you have a point there Trav. Monday is a sort of reprieve for us parents, but ... I sitll secretly harbor a nasty grudge. Can't help it.

Yeah, she gets shot in an earlier scene and the two gorgeous Irish brothers save her lil ole life. Ain't that romantic? LOL. I have the first six chapters on authonomy if you're interested in reading more. My username there is Nash Davis. =) I'm incognito.

Kudo Julie. I think your checklist is a great way for busy moms (and dads!) to get their hands on a great book. And you've brought up another great point: the spine. Spine decoration is important too. In just looking at the books lining my bookshelf, I'm surprised to see that all together, the spine art is aestetically pleasing. I wonder if that was a conscious effort?

Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

Very good Karen. I like your style. And it think it works that way for most readers.

My thoughts exactly! I have to like the cover to even consider reading the blurb. Isn't that horrible? It doesn't give the author any chance at all.

Totally. I always want to have a say in my cover art, which is a major down side to traditional publishers. BUT, with that being said, most every cover I've seen from traditional publishers has been kinda smexy. =)
