Evolutionary theory does not state that we evolved from monkeys.
If you're going to rail against the theory, at least know what it says.
WE SHARE A COMMON ANCESTOR.

As for clothing vs. fur coats:
Whether we originated in Africa or Mesopotamia, we still originated in tropical/arid climate so there was no need for heat retention. As we evolved, we developed the ability to control fire and create shelter, thus no need for the evolutionary development of heavy fur and fat deposits.
For the most part, the advent of intelligence has removed us from natural evolution/selection. We now can mentally adapt so the need to physically adapt isn't necessary.

If I can go down to the park in Sellwood and feed geese out of one hand, then I could surely hit one with a stick held in the other. The geese that hang around parks and golf courses are accustomed to people, no hunting blinds or decoy goose-calls needed.

Here's an idea:
Get rid of golf courses!

It's a giant waste of usable land and a huge waste of water; both of which could be used for far more benificial purposes than the furtherance of an outdated and elitist hobby.

...and guns? What the hell do they need to shoot these geese? Walk up to 'em and hit 'em with a stick!

If I thought all illegals came from Mexico I wouldn't have mentioned CAFTA.

As for all those other jobs...
Is it that those jobs are being stolen or is it that lately those trades aren't being taken up by Americans with the fervor they used to be. Blue collar work is looked down upon in this country by most.
Is that right? Hell no... but it's the cold hard truth.
