LOL! I took pictures of the sidewalks, people sweeping the sidewalks, litter, graffiti cleanup, the restrooms, the anarchists, the trash pile and the trucks taking away the portable toilets yesterday but nobody thanked me for my "very up front personal report" on the camp, mostly, I'm sure, because they didn't want to agree with what I said.

BTW I wasn't there to Occupy. I was serving on jury duty all day across the street and so I ate lunch in the park every day at noon. But WTF do I know?

According to other sources a wound on his head looks like it came from a teargas canister. This is what all of those who beat their chests and demand that the police fight them wanted to happen. Lars Larson's handlers are figuring out the spin as we speak so that by tomorrow he can discount the Marine's service or blame it on Obama. Meanwhile there's some cop going home tonight knowing that shooting an American war veteran in the head with tear gas, from behind his body armor, riot gear and police phalanx, makes him a real man.

Having said all that: Don't throw s--t at cops, don't hang around people who throw s--t at cops, and when the cops tell you to disperse, go somewhere else and protest if you want.

LOL! You'd be telling this to US Marines. Hazing is a f-----g institution from training day one, and falling asleep on watch has been grounds for corporal punishment since before the establishment of the Marine Corps.

If the higher-ups can't handle the problem and the off-watch Marines can't get their three hours of sleep in their foxholes because some d-bag keeps falling asleep on watch--which could get all their heads severed on YouTube--the Marines are going to take care of the problem themselves. Otherwise, the whole mission is in jeopardy.

That's the truth nobody is going to want to handle.

For perspective, falling asleep in duty has for centuries been considered one of the most serious of wartime offenses, and a soldier in General Washington's or Mr. Lincoln's army would have been flogged and may have been executed for it. In the '80s, they'd throw your ass out of Officer Candidates School for falling asleep on fire-watch. It violates the Second, Fifth and Eleventh General Orders for Sentries.

Ask any infantry veteran of Vietnam what could happen if the guy on watch fell asleep. (Or watch "Platoon.")

"Oakland's independent police review body will examine the clashes between riot officers and protesters that left an Iraq war veteran in a critical condition as Occupy protestors prepare to rally at the same spot for a third night of protests.

Scott Olsen, 24, suffered a fractured skull and brain swelling after he was allegedly hit in the head by a police projectile during the clashes on Tuesday. A spokesperson for Highland hospital in east Oakland confirmed he was critically ill after being admitted on Tuesday night."

Do you know something everybody else doesn't, or are you talking out of your ass?

What f----d up little world do you live in where there's a "reason" to beat a girl after she's already unconscious? Is it the same one where she deserves to get raped if she acts a certain way? Tell it to a jury and watch what happens.

Jesus was a pacifist commie who hated moneychangers and lenders, and who flagrantly disregarded rule of law. Pontius Pilate knew how to deal with hippies.

On the other hand, he was a carpenter so at least at some point he worked for a living.

Social dialog about investment bank corruption right before the next election season. They have the President, the Congress, the Republicans, even the Tea Party talking about it; acknowledging that Wall Street is corrupt and needs to be investigated. The longer the Occupiers hold on, the longer the demonstrate that the President, the Republicans and the Tea Party have no actual interest in seeing Wall Street corruption investigated.

Even Lars Larson, Rx Limbaugh and Beck have acknowledged that the message that Wall Street is corrupt has value, and that the middle class are getting screwed.

Bingo. Win.
