You must be a super newb. Tell us where to make a donation if they accept them (I bet you have no idea what /dev/null is do you?

And although jailbreak is great for many of us, it didn't really do anything for the sale of iphones. Most people don't jailbreak or even know what it is. Most are just phone users, and they do what is allowed.

Oh, and what rights do you have? You have no rights when in private places. I can refuse to serve you in a restaurant if i don't like the way you look. The mods can ban you if they don't like your comments.

When you finish your high school education and get some real world experience, come back and tell us if you still believe your own drivel.

I am glad you like your phone, but i never thought this was a great idea. We had phones with external antennas for years - they stuck out the top. But that wasn't pretty, so they got crammed inside. But if the antenna is inside, you can't cover it with a metal back or have other things in its way. So it gets moved back outside, but instead of sticking up, they wrap it around so it looks pretty, but now it is grabbed when in use.

If we tried to use old cell phones with antennas sticking out by holding the antenna in our fist, we would probably have call issues.

Very first page of Cydia you can go to featured packages scroll down to bottom (console utilities and daemons) or On the first page scroll down to User Guides then OpenSSH Access How-to.

Make sure you change your Root and Mobile passwords if you install SSH.

Is it a 3G or 3GS? Do you want to use it on T-Mo? All the instructions here are for unlocking it on 4.0. If it is a 3GS downgrading won't help you.

No current release of anything for 3Gs with 4.0.

New firmware always involves backup and restore. You should not lose anything, but it could happen.

I would suggest RedSn0w above, but it won;t run on PPC. You need to wait for PPC version or find a Windows or OSX-x86 box.

You can't use Spirit to get to 4.0 - Spirit does not currently support it.....

Go up to the Blog post and read update 1.

If you do, you won't have a jailbreak or unlock until they are released. Reread the Dev-Team post above.
