If you voted for Margaret Thatcher, John Major, Tony Blair, David Cameron, or Theresa May, you voted for the right wing "globalist project".

The Neoliberal right wing have been open about their project, it was all over the news in the 1990s, it was called "globalization". The aim was to create a single global "free market".

First disparate countries would be gathered into regional trade blocs, like NAFTA, EU, ASEAN, etc... then these blocs would be linked via hemisphere spanning "free trade" agreements like TTIP and TPP. The 40 year project was nearing completion when first Brexit punctured the biggest trade bloc in the World, then Trump was elected...

Trump has sunk 40 years worth of work in less than one year. Neoliberal right wingers all over the World are rubbing their eyes wondering what the f**k has happened.

Me included.

Keep your eye on the Irish border 'backstop'.

Theresa May has already done a deal to keep the UK in the Single Market and Customs Union in the event of a "no deal".

"Who said anything about favelas? Why should they be substandard?"

If a person has little money, what sort of dwelling will they construct under the auspices of a "free market"? A ten bedroom mansion or a shack?

"I’m well aware of the brutalist nature, and failure, of much postwar social housing..."

Post War brutalist housing suffered from, in general, a lack of investment and maintenance. Much of it was built with poor quality construction materials and shoddy building techniques. That said, there are some incredible brutalist edifices in London I would give my eyeteeth to own a slice of; Barbican, Trellick, Balfron, etc, etc... are highly desirable addresses.

You've already stated you will blame the EU if Brexit result in national "decline".

You've already abdicated personal responsibility.

Do you really want to see favelas springing up in the countryside?

I thought we'd learnt our lesson about substandard housing a generation ago. The slum clearances are still in living memory; I suggest you talk to some old people for enlightenment.

You cast your vote for "Leave" with your eyes open.

You were warned about the consequences of Brexit, but, branded the warnings "project fear".

It is your "logic" based on a false analogy that is flawed.
