I wonder if it is to try for 1080p 60 frames per second. More seriously yes even Nintendo delayed some games at launch, but this is turning into a ridiculous trend. The only reason they can get away with doing this so often is they have so much third party support as well as some game that they have locked in to this year. It really seems that games are launched broken and early MCC or delayed for copious amounts of time, what a great defining trend for the 8th console generation.

I suspect it will be a game that will be decisive. The difficulty has be described as hard but fair to brutal, some like the movement system and others don't. Most agree that the characterization is shallow and enemy turns are a bit long and the multilayer has strange omissions. I still think it looks a fantastic game and most sites seem to agree.

I am happy to hear it but am wary, specifically on two points. The first is the fourth aim "their fourth objective is to become the number one group when it comes to its scale and profits". If the mobile sector is more profitable what will it mean for console development? The other point is "tri-Ace can still be an outsource studio for console titles.". It sounds like it will only do console development if the are outsourced which means it will be up to other companies to initiate projects that they work on. Furthermore it means IP's like Star Ocean will be dependent on the companies that hold the IP's. That said a lot of Japaneses game companies are not in strong positions.
It is good news that they will be available for console development but like Francis I am also very wary of there future.

It's good to see this kind of reaction as Nintendo has made significant strides in indie polices and relationships. The fact that it now has a user base of around 10 million also makes it a solid market prospect as long as the games are of a decent quality. The fact that it is not as popular or has a massive install base also means it is a market place with less competition, combined with an audience that has a good games attach rate it is definitely a more viable prospect for indies now. The fact that Don't Stave and Never Alone are coming is a sign of this.
In some ways it seems that it has matured with companies like RCMADIAX pulling back on multiple projects and no long spamming out simple games it indicates that it will get more quality titles but will still enable new and unique ideas to have a chance. Games like Runbow, Hex Heros etc showing this. This is also likely a reaction to the customer base maturing as well demanding substantial experiences which in the end is a win for the entire e-shop and the Wii U in general.

Wonder if it will include a multiplayer aspect as the PC versions multiplayer is still in bata, still good news.

I don't see the fantasy as people have said it's a cave I really have to hope they are just showing the entrance, as most games I know of now would call it an explorable area or a place for a secret not a dungeon. I want it to be good and to succeed but I really think they a focusing on the wrong aspects. Then again it is just a demo so the final game might be a lot better, we will see.

After centuries of oppression and violence against them there wrath has come. Also a adventure map where you beat down Link and his friends is now required.

Not unexpected considering it was developed as a 360/PS3 game with a traditional controller setup. That said I don't remember pointer control or other control methods being mentioned. As for being different from the 2011 reveal I have already seen people saying that Nintendo destroyed the game play style even before this, I however can't wait to play it. As for secrets Nintendo Easter eggs, costumes, Ninja Gaiden references the list of possibilities it quite extensive.

It dose seem to happen a lot now, seriously the amount of buyouts and closures is getting to an insane level now. However at the same time a lot of new companies are springing up because of them, in some ways leading to a revitalization of the industry which is a positive that is coming out of nonsense that is happening at the moment.

Could Microsoft have bought it out? I had the impression that Japanese laws were strict to prevent international buyouts. Its unfortunate but the Japaneses gaming industry is nowhere near as strong and in a phase of transition towards mobile at the moment. Very few companies could have bought it or would have the desire (in some ways I am surprised that Square didn't as they could have used them the same way with the new focus on mobile), hence it dose make sense for Nepro with the move to mobile in Japan.
As for Nintendo it is really impossible for us to know how the chose what and who to save and who to let go, their criteria is not well demonstrated or obvious. The best case now is that employes might leave to join or create other studios and companies like Nintendo.
That said it is really sad I really enjoyed the Star Ocean series and have Resonance of Fate that I am planning to play this year. It really dose seem that the JRPG is a dying genre outside of Square and Nintendo but the ideas and quirkiness that smaller companies like tri-Ace brought to the genre were interesting and refreshing and something that will be missed. It seems if we want it back we will have to rely on new small companies like Furyu with Legend of Legacy but on console.
