I tend to like "Game of Thrones" more than "The Lord of the Rings". Winter is coming and I can't wait. I just hope season two deals more with what's behind that gigantic wall in the north. I'm also curious to see what happens to Daenerys and her new pets.

It never fails to make me laugh listening to millionaire celebrities dressed in designer clothes and covered in diamonds rhapsodize on the nitwittery otherwise known as Occupy Wall Street. Their utter lack of self awareness is truly staggering.

I forgot about the remake for "The Lone Ranger". I know it's had some production delays, but I'm not sure if they're still proceeding with it. Adam Beach would definitely make a better Tonto than Depp.

Since the Academy failed to nominate Albert Brooks, there seems to be little chance of an entertaining Oscar speech this year. It's more fun watching the fashion recap with Joan Rivers anyway.

I'm also worried about "Dark Shadows" as it's yet another Depp/Burton collaboration and the only one of those I liked was "Ed Wood".

Depp replacing Darren McGavin in "The Night Stalker"? That's just nutty.

Simmons has incredible range as an actor. He was hysterical in two episodes of the greatly missed "Party Down" and downright terrifying in "Oz".
