Everyone is seeing it... even children.. little kids who admire that prick and might do the same to another animals... thats why that owl is so damn important! Not because its a special owl, but because of what it represents!

Ok. I have to take part on this. I owe it to all owls. I'm serious...

At my family's farm, there's a stretch of road that we all had to drive through it really slow, because there was a nest of owls in the side and they would often fly in front of our cars... One day, I was in a bit of a hurry, completely forgot about them and didn't reduce the speed. And, unfortunately, I hit an owl. It was flying in front of my car, I didn't see it, and the poor thing couldn't keep up with the speed, so it hit the windshield.
I immediately hit the break and went to check on the owl. It was dead. And it was so tiny and cute. My heart broke and I started crying like I knew her (i like to think it was a she) all my life. I grabbed a blanket (actually, my brother's shirt, but it was 100% cotton, very comfy, I promise) and took the body with me.
When I got home, me and my niece (who's 4 yrs old and still thinks the owl was already dead when I found it - don't want her to think of her aunt as a murder) buried the little owl in the backyard.

Anyway, to think I still feel so guilty when I remember this accident, I can't believe a grown man could actually do such a thing on purpose! But then again... there are people who kill other people... I don't get them thugs.

So count me in, Kickettes! I'm in Brazil, it won't take long to get to Colombia! Ahoy!
