Due to the increasing amount of spam email sent to this address, I have implemented the program BoxTrapper to guard my mail box. The message you sent requires that you verify that you
are a real live human being and not a spam source.
To complete this verification, simply reply to this message and leave the subject line intact.
This procedure should only be done once, if my email requires you to do it again, please let me know so I can fix the problem. (New system to me.)

I can relate to this. I have gone through a lot of adjustments of self confidence and how I bring it out. First I had none. Then I developed it into a fairly healthy amount. Then I noticed that my friend had none, so in order to give her more space and opportunities to shine, I diminished myself to smaller than what I really was. Of course this didn't help my friend in the end, but just put me in a very bad emotional state. I had been suppressing myself for quite some time, until it all came out with a huge burst. I call this my narcissistic phase, and not surprisingly I then made friends with a woman who was a full blown narcissist or just someone in the same situation. (I think the former.) She certainly inflated my narcissistic tendencies and I may have done the same to her I don't know. I just know, that somewhere there I went overboard and I am readjusting myself, still, I may have gone too far back again, not very much back, fortunately, but too much. I guess my wakeup call came when I said something to a complete stranger, and then a second later realised I was way out of line...
