I am wondering whether this train service will warrant low ridership? It seems to me like a waste of money and time to even consider this. Most people fly or drive to Chicago. I agree with sandwich girl that high speed rail service is long overdue for the Continental United States. It would beat the rising airfare prices, and would be more effective than the slow bus services offered, and save the tiring long hours of driving personal automobiles.

I cannot believe he was released on his own recognizance without having to post bail on a promise to appear in court. I wouldn't count on him appearing, he sounds like a typical abuser and loser. I just hope the system is protecting that poor woman in case he attacks her again. Here's where a nice "protective" dog comes in handy. Sometimes these dogs let the intruder/attacker in, but don't let them get away.
