Iran is a one trick pony because it's entire economy is built on just one thing, selling crude oil via ocean going tanker.

Bomb Iran's Navy, Iran's oil ports, refineries, oil distribution facilities and electrical power plants and they are a third world country over night.

No national income, no ability to export over the sea, no ability to get oil to market, and no gasoline to fuel vehicles to kill their own people.
