Yeah, my generation WII and X box students informed me peanuts grow on the trees and food comes from the super market. Who needs top talk about who sweats and tolls to feed our ever hungry tummies.

And when murderer Rathore can get bail on the account of tending his farm lands and there can be farmshouses without actual farms and fields on Mehruli road what else do we really need.

This is the state: The artiyaas (middle men) control the prices even Govt of India cannot do anything said the Foof and Agriculture Minister, Sharad Pawar.

What we can do sitting in our urban homes?
Not complain but support the farmers when they protest for fair prices.
Write to editors and show our discontent about the unfair treatment metted to the farmers.
Denounce genetically modified foods that kill food diversity and food sustainability of the country.
Make effort to go to a village to take a look at what a village and farmer looks like.
