Oh, yes, those poor boys "hav[ing] to live with this for the rest of their lives." What a shame that they had to MAKE A CONSCIOUS DECISION TO SEXUALLY ASSAULT AN 11-YEAR OLD. I think it goes without saying who the victim is here, folks. And yet somehow there's sympathy directed at these men who could just as easily have chosen to NOT rape someone. If these guys' lives are ruined, then the blame lies solely on them.

Awesome list! I'm actually currently working on a college thesis on fairy tale adaptations (which will include writing a few of my own modernized adaptations, which will probably all have a bit of a feminist bent to them), and I'm using some of these books as my sources!

Nonsense! Anyone who would give a thumbs down to such a wonderful suggestion should hang his/her head in shame. Those are two fantastic songs! There are at least two other songs by Dylan that are over 10 minutes long: "Highlands" (which I think is about 16 minutes long) and "Joey" (although to be honest, the less said about that song, the better).

Heck yes! "Thick as a Brick" FTW! Also, these may be more in the folk department rather than rock, but may I suggest "Alice's Restaurant Massacree" by Arlo Guthrie (18:30) and "Foreigner Suite" by Cat Stevens (18:17)? Also, for something just barely over ten minutes, but rockin' as heck, I suggest any live version of "I'm Going Home" by Ten Years After, but especially the version played at Woodstock (okay, so technically, according to the track of that version on my iPod, it's only nine and a half minutes long. Still, it's worth a listen).

Loved the inclusion of "The IT Crowd" (one of my faves). But no "Mighty Boosh"?! This is an OUTRAGE! Also, I think "Garth Marenghi's Darkplace" deserves a spot on this list. It only lasted for six episodes, but what a hilarious six episodes they were.

That's a dirty lie. Men did not invent everything. Men do not know everything. Only half of men "win all the sports" (who are they usually playing against? That's right: men. Someone's gotta lose. At the same time, half the women who play sports win for the same reason). And let's not forget that there was once a time when men didn't cut their hair short either. Women are just starting to catch up to men socially after centuries of being told they're inferior and that their place is in the kitchen. How dare you claim not to be sexist when you still insist that one sex is "better" than the other.

This is pretty tough, but I'd probably have to vote for "U.S.A. Forever" for utter failure when it comes to historical knowledge of the country (s)he holds so near and dear. First of all, America is not "for" white people; in fact, the Europeans were the ones who barged in and stole the country from its indiginous residents. Secondly, a vast majority of European-Americans have been in this country for far fewer generations than African-Americans (many of whom have ancestors who were brought here against their will, rather than intentionally "coming here and ruining everything we built" -- as if the Europeans didn't do anything remotely resembling this to the Native Americans). Thirdly, if there's anyone "ruining everything" in this country, it's ignorant white supremacist trash like him/her.
