Definitely stick to the plan and treat every run like the most important appointment of your day & week. I deny friends' invites for going out, dinner with my bf, watching various sports games, and much more just to make sure I get in my run. It's fun to see who ends up being supportive & in awe of your commitment, and conversely who tries to derail you from your plan.

Huh, I suppose I'm indeed a lurker! I've been coming to your blog ever since I started running, just over a year ago. I love your advice and no-nonsense approach to running. So yeah, I'm a runner, and also a yogi - the stretching and mindfulness really helps me.

While cake (or pie) for breakfast IS a fun treat once in a while, man would that make me feel sluggish if I did it more than 3 times a year! High protien all the way! It's usually eggs for me, or a protein & fiber rich oatmeal for breakfast. Without that, I'm hungry by 9am, and that's no good for office productivity. Yay for protein!

This recipe sounds truly marvelous. I'm trying to get the boyfriend to eat healthier, and I bet he'd love this one! About the haircut...that really does suck. Cue sympathy :) My only advice is to get some cute hair pins, a hat, a big headband...something to take away from the shortness. That's all I got for ya :-/ Good luck!

Made this last night, and it was fantastic!! Added some frozen peas (because I didn't have enough corn), and roasted a chopped onion along with the sweet potato. Sooooo good, and I'm looking forward to the leftovers for lunch today!! Thanks!
