What a mindset you have ...my students don't think I'm negative or spiteful so perhaps your nasty personal attack really just tells us all about you... 8-)

What a strange mindset you have...I saw what I said in many cases and especially from Germans at Stirling and Edinburgh. One did Erasmus for four years going from us to Spain to China at the EU taxpayer's expense for at least the first three years... I'm all for opportunity but also would like EU Students to repay their loans - Oh wait.

PS Have lived and worked abroad in Asia/Europe and the Middle east for much of my life

As someone who saw countless middle class Germans at university all on Erasmus, doing little but the minimum study and then doing the touristy bits in Scotland, followed by another year elsewhere in Europe I'm more in favour of Turing! If a student really wanted to study abroad they would raise the money or find a sponsor as many of my friends did. Erasmus was always a subtle version of the 'Grand Tour' only in reverse - the EU students coming to us rather than the British going to the EU. Also strange how so many of the German Erasmus I knew ended up working for the EU. Funny how the majority of Erasmus kids from my school/uni going the other way was to Paris and Italy....and every single one was upper middle class! Going to Africa or Asia will open more eyes of Turing students about others and real lives rather than the same middle class they mixed with in Paris or Italy!

Tory hopes of unseating Richard Lochhead who is NOT as popular in Moray as he thinks he is, are undermined by choosing Tim Eagle who spends most of his time in tatty jumpers even in the Council chambers. Rather than get someone who is born or at least lives locally they choose Tim who took the Tory Group out of council control, then tried to get it back and failed miserably. Tim is NOT impressing the locals. The excuse that it was his turn or he was selected by local Tory group is weak, very weak. Why doesn't Douglas at least stand - even if he does lose he'll still get in on the list. If he wins then that's another for the list seat.

As an old boy of Jonathan's alma mater, Princethorpe College AND a current teacher I was disappointed not not see much in this article about TEACHERS. They need to recover too 8-) Perhaps make it four week summer, three weeks Christmas (get us over the January flu plague that always happens) and three weeks Easter? We'd still have less than the MPs who I suppose always argue that they need time off to work for their constituents but sadly in may cases we don't see the MP much when they are allegedly at home working. I also see the need for parents to be MADE to be responsible parents in many cases. They often treat school as somewhere to chuck little Johnny or Jadey for the day even when they're ill hence the spread of flu etc. The behaviour and lack of social graces are appalling; some of our S1 kids (Year 7) talk to adults with contempt as they're well aware of their 'uman rights you know! I see many teachers giving up if you cut the time they desperately need to recharge. And if you actually look at the hours many teachers work they do enough to more than justify the current holidays! I do not include the Marxist lefties of the National Unions in the hard working pool... 8-)

The so called polls are often set up or even run by the Scottish Government or Angus Robertson's wee gang. I know there are SNP supporters up here but the vast majority of people are very anti Sturgeon now. Her daily rantfests have also contributed to people being very fed up with her and by extension, the SNP. Local council about to go Tory again

Given the disgusting amount of corruption and the large numbers of Nigerian millionaires having excessive wedding parties/shopping sprees in London perhaps they should sort their house out before we invest anything more?

I can almost guarantee the North East and Moray will also want to break away given the disgraceful way the SNP/ScotGov treat them. Deprived of money due which ends up in the hands of Dunee/Glasgow and so on and the SNP keyboard warriors are forever claiming the Tories get in because of the RAF up here. Rubbish. Most RAF vote elsewhere at elections and there's HALF the number here than when the SNP used to win....
