13 years ago @ My Life In Sweden - Pseudopregnant Again · 1 reply · +1 points

I heard about this behavior in dogs when I noticed my female Pit who isn't even a year old yet, was showing the signs of being pregnant. Her teets were kinda saggy, which is usually what happens after a female gives birth. I have only dealt with puppies twice with my female who died so I am unfamiliar with dealing with a young female who hasn't gotten pregnant right away with her first heat. The reason I had looked it up was my male was still trying to get her but, we thought she was pregnant. It's just all a big mess but, despite her teet issue I don't think she is pregnant because if she is than this has been the longest pregnancy a dog could have. I heard it is very traumatic for a female to have pseudopregnancies. I hope Lisen is ok and be back to her happy self soon. I don't know if dogs go through menopause my male is nearly 9 yrs old and he is the oldest dog I have ever had as an adult.

My husband always says to me that "every day is a holiday." It use to make me mad because I got so sick of his nonchalant way of saying "it's just another day." It was as if he was degrading every day he spent with me and our children. I know he means just as you are saying, he doesn't practice it but, he believes in it and that is a good start. Thank you for your insight into Valentine's Day and love. Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours.

Thank you Lisa for sharing this. It is so very important. I struggled with bullying, abuse, and suicide myself and dealt with my now departed sister who was constantly cutting herself or threatening suicide. All I can say is I thank the Universe every day that she didn't die directly by her own hand. I could and would never forgive myself for losing someone I love to suicide. YOU HEAR ME BONNIE!!!

Aww. I absolutely loved it. The photos moved too quickly though it was hard to read some of the words on a few of them. But, I loved it. Here's to friends!

Every time I read anything to do with schools I cringe. When it has to do with a rape or death I physically get ill. I will never understand how anyone on this planet would be so careless with someone they are suppose to protect. There is so much I really want to say about this but, unfortunately I will come off as a really big jerk so I will not say how I truly feel about schools and irresponsible adults. I can't say to you enough times Mary that you have made the right choice to homeschool your daughter. Nobody and I mean absolutely nobody on the face of this planet will ever care about your child the way you do. She is one extremely lucky girl to have such a caring and observant, well-prepared mother.

This is a Christmastime staple in our home. All of them in fact. Tim Allen's biggest role was most definitely as Santa Clause. Thanks for sharing.
