I'm amazed by how instantly God's instruction (spanking/rod) works. When I am regularly training, instructing and administering spankings, my children are a joy to be around. I spank my children because 1. it is commanded by God and 2. It allows me to enjoy my kids
I am in no way an expert parent but I'm thankful for God's wisdom in child training and I have been greatly blessed by the Pearls ministry concerning training.
Spanking is not the easy way to parent but it is the Godly way. And His ways are higher and better than mine.

At what age do you start reading straight bible and how much? We read from the Jesus Story Book bible which seems to be pretty good. I like it because it brings it all back to Jesus and points to him in each story. I'm also working on the shorter catechism with my son since he was three. We sing Seeds family worship which is bible verses set to music.

One way I save money is making my own cleaning products and using hand towels instead of paper towels. I make an all purpose cleaner, floor cleaning solution, and dusting spray. I have a basket on my kitchen counter top filled with towels. I use them as I would a paper towel except I just wash them once a week. I'm encouraged by this post as I someday hope to own our own home on some land. I would never be able to ship my children off to daycare. The thought makes me uneasy and anxious. I'm blessed to have a hard working husband.

I totally agree. How would you counsil a woman who believes this biblical truth but her husband doesn't really know or care and chooses to attend a local church who occasionally have women teach?

Sentiments like this make me sick. I'm so thankful to be off Facebook as I avoid silly photos like this one.
Of course we need men! Our whole civilization would be lost without men. Men build our infrastructure. I think feminists conveniently forget these facts. I'm thankful for the men who keep our world running, by the grace of God.

Great post! I giggled reading the Feminism passage. It is eerily similar to what many Christian women model and encourage. I'm usually the odd ball in my Christian circles because I stay home and severance my husband.

Not to mention if men do live up to the expectations of this silly list, women grow to resent them and then will become bitter and want to leave them. Women are fickle and think they want one thing but really they do not. Women deep down want a man to lead them. God made us this way and there is no use fighting it.
