I know that my friends who are missionaries in Istanbul would NOT like it known what they do. They describe themselves as "teachers". Colleagues of theirs were murdered in Turkey a couple of years ago.

From my experience - yes. I was church secretary at a church where porn was downloaded on my office computer.. I did suggest a filter but this was deemed "not necessary". Sigh.

Apparently the National Health system in the UK does not treat cancers in those over 75 with chemo. Only surgery and radiation are used. When I first heard this, I was horrified but it makes great sense (and not just economic sense).

Yep. I have had about 2 notifications of comments but that was only when I had replied to a specific comment, not when I had commented on the thread in general. So I have bene checking the site daily for new comments on threads I have commented on.
