I don't make enough of the same thing twice to create such a list! However, I do plan around themes each week - soup one day, breakfast for dinner another, pizza or sandwiches one night, etc. I like your list!

I love making hot chocolate at home, although I'm usually just making a cup for myself (the kids are DF, and DH doesn't really love hot choc), so I don't really follow a recipe. I think you're right, though, that the salt is essential. I think it not only cuts the sweetness, it also cuts the bitterness of the chocolate. (FYI, the first two links didn't work for me.)

Great article! I used to use coconut oil all the time until my second son developed an allergy to it:( Now we use mostly olive oil for foods the whole family eats, and butter for foods myself and my husband eat. And palm shortening as well. I'm starting to experiment with stevia, too.

You are so brave to tackle this! I don't know if I would even try one w/o the allergy issues, but with them? And I love how you used healthy toppings instead of crazy candy. I will definitely keep this in mind for next year!

Once my son had his molars, I started quartering grapes for him. Now he's a little over 3, and I finally just stopped cutting them in half for him. Choking scares me! My second son, though, is not as good with his food, so it will probably be quite some time before I even think of giving him choke-able food like grapes. Crazy kid chokes on bananas, lol. I love your finger food suggestions! We eat all of those pretty frequently around here, except the peas, which I need to buy more often.
