I have never heard those terms before but they are incredibly accurate. Like you, I'm definitely a panster. I write reviews and discussion posts as the motivation strikes me. Which probably isn't as often as it should be. I keep telling myself I'm going to start better using my free time on the weekend to plan and pre-write posts but so far it hasn't happened. Maybe this weekend.....

It is particularly frustrating when there are multiple points of view that end up sounding the same. I think if you're gonna write for more than one character you have to makes sure they're really distinctive or it's just confusing for the reader.
