I love that poem! Life is meant to be an adventure, and that poem really shares that concept. I love the picture, too. It looks snowy and cold and peaceful.

Um. No. I haven't made peace with my past. My past haunts me, taunts me, tells me that I'm not good enough, not worthy enough.It is like those annoying little dogs that never stop yapping. It points me toward a future that is lonely and broken down. I'm not willing to go to a lonely, broken-down future but I cannot change the past. It sounds great to say leave the past behind where it belongs but, in practice, that is much harder to achieve.
Maybe someday, I will make peace with my past but, today, not, it's not happening. I'll go out and have fun and let the past sit in a drawer at home. Unfortunately, I don't have a key to lock that drawer so the past keeps hopping out at the most inconvenient of times.

I also have never heard of this group. What a fantastic song. I especially like: "Due to lack of interest, tomorrow is canceled." That's fascinating. Thank you for broadening my horizons and for giving me so much information about these musical groups.
