Angie this is home run post - It really helps to be reminded that doing what we have a "right to do" and "doing what is right" are often very different things. Jesus was our greatest example as well as our redeemer. Love the Bonhoeffer snippet - definitely a modern hero of faith. Your heart is so wide open and as you live out these words in front of us..."Submitting to the Lord’s way by His Spirit doesn’t make me “holier than thou”. It allows me to live holy." Thanks for being another great example for others - especially me. Great work friend!!

COLOSSIANS 3:1-4 Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 And when Christ, who is your[a] life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

Thanks Angie for opening your heart that we might look inside to see Jesus. And how He took your scars and made them His own -Glory to God! Also, great insight about Mary and the extent to which she must have been crying- very fresh idea to consider. Thanks for your courage to write this, God is glorified! You are a blessing to me and many others who need His healing hand.

I can relate to that line brother - God is shaking the tree and hopefully all of that me stuff is falling off. The sustenance over success way of life is ironically part of the very definition of success for a renewed mind. Bless you brother - great post!
