This post has a humorous yet not at all humorous tone to it, Kala. The one in the school had happened to me as well. I think teachers are equipped with that particular sense to gauge the knowledge of the student with just a glance.
Glad to see you back in the writing space, Kala. It's an absolute delight to read you describe the little things in an impeccable manner, the way only you can do. Maybe, next time read a blog post of yours to the traffic police and who knows, the guilty face with shifty eyes might be excused! :D

This year I made it to the list to my surprise. But nothing changed because of that. So after feeling sour for the last 5 years consistently I learned that lists are not important in anyway other than “how you question the not making it to the list “ to ruin your precious blog’s sanity and yours by extension. I decided to accept the trivial-ness of all things materialistic and move on with my life next time I see a list or an award without my name in it. Of course, if it does contain my name I will be shouting from the rooftop and do a happy dance. 😀😀
You are ver humorous (which you knew already) and a talented writer, Kala. It will be an honor to be featured in a list along with you. ❤️

I consider myself as a pure Non-vegetarian and I don’t question others food choice and don’t encourage questions about my food choice from others. Non-vegetarians do get asked about killing off animals, which again i believe will end up only creating debates. Your answers are good ones, Mahathi!

That’s a beautiful quote. Time is precious. As mothers we know the value of time more now. I am struggling with reading and writing, but I can’t blame everything on lack of time. As you said doing the chores with love might be the trick. Glad to see you back , Mahathi!
