Oh, I remember TWATD! I agree about the diversity! Why can't there be more fantasy/scifi books that feature diversity? I don't read contemporary, so I'm sadly losing all the diversity. Great post! May be one of the millionth about diversity, but it's good! :)

This is a book I've been meaning to read for long. I wanted to find a confident character, but based on your review... she doesn't sound quite confident. And the romance... I guess I'll have to be patient. Great review.

Oh, welcome to Happy Indulgence, Aila and Jenna! 😃 I already know Jenna, so I can't wait to meet Aila. In any case, I know both will give this blog what Jeann was looking for. 😊

I actually didn't notice this, haha... but that's because I haven't read nor watched Outlander. It irks me, though, when people do this. My opinion is similar to Cait's up there: They're mostly rubbish. They are using it only to get more sales - most of the time they're lying. Well anyway, I need to at least read Outlander. Everyone loves it and I'm kind of intrigued. ;)

Good luck with finding your co-blogger(s), Jeann! I hope you find someone who shares some interests with you, or at least someone you can have lots of fun with! I can't want to meet him/her! :)

I love this post, and so do I love Twitter chats. They're a great way of getting to know more bloggers and authors, etc, etc, etc, but I agree: Sometimes there are way too many of them, and it can get boring. Besides, some are repetitive, and what's more boring than that? Though, plagiarism... I wouldn't go that far. Not now, at least.

Actually, everything you said (except the part about FSOG) is making me want to read this, though... I have ZERO knowledge about Russian fairytales, so... sigh, I'm still intrigued, haha. And I LOVE that "I regret nothing" gif. That show is totally histerical as well (it's a little stupid, but OMG I enjoy it sometimes when my brothers watch it).

I'm not really sure if this is my type of book, as I know nothing about gaming and such, but I'm glad that you could at least enjoy it despite the flaws. You suggest ten to read Ready Player One instead of Armada?

I can relate to this, Jeann. And I agree 100% with everything you said. Blogging surely is a hard job, so I admire you for keeping up. Sometimes I even feel blogging has become an obligation for me, and when I get those thoughts, that's when I know I need to take a break.

Ah, good luck, Val! I haven't been posting things these past days for the same reason - I have to study! Hope to see you soon! (Yeah, Sept 26, you better come faster!)
