I agree on the shirt - cute idea, but the execution was lacking. I think the medal is pretty cool, mostly because it's a different shape. I didn't get a medal for my tri :( Now I need to do another one so that I can get a medal.

What did I do this weekend? I ran from Mt Hood to Seaside. With 11 other people. Duh.

When I'm thinking intelligently, I like to rest if I think I need to. I'd rather go into a race slightly undertrained than injured.

However, I do not always think intelligently.

You had to mention the poop, didn't you. I never know about the poop. Now I will have nightmares.

Seriously though, wait until after the race, or even a couple days to decide how you feel about it. Even though my tri was less than stellar, I had fun and I could see how with better preparation I could really like it. But yes, running off the bike SUCKS.

If I go to Brewfest again I'll go Thursday after work while all the normal people are doing weekday things. The Organic Brewfest a few weeks ago was perfect - same set up, but way fewer people. There were only 2 or 3 people in line at a time. Fewer beers though.

I was totally Sporty Spice when I was younger. One of my friends wanted to be Posh Spice and she would wear super high heels but she couldn't walk in them. Classy ladies, we were.
