Jamie, has anyone else mentioned any formatting problems with the Blackberry Storm 2? I can't seem to fit your website properly on my phone. The text is either too small or I have to keep scrolling from left to right to read a full line of text. I think it's just this new piece of shit I got. It has other issues as well.

I read the whole list but stopped to make myself a little reminder to comment on how much I liked the picture in # 11. That would make for some really interesting film editing.

Such as? And no, we're not the moral compass of the world but probably more so than any country that compass does point awfully far to the west. I'm not against it as I've stated to many other repliers but I can't think of too many other countries that would allow it under the circumstances. If it does happen, just remember (again, as I've stated before) it has to work both ways.

A Dark Tower series would be very hard to adapt to the big screen. I'd love to see them try but it could wind up being disasterous. Josh Brolin maybe as Roland?

I can't even imagine the regret that Steven Spielberg must feel everyday for not getting on board with Roger Rabbit II and instead going on to make Schindler's List. He must still be kicking himself in the ass for that decision.

Listverse : 10 Ridiculous Cases of Political Correctness

We can say it's the media's fault for calling it a \"mosque\" but everybody on both sides of this thing (Dems & Obama included) are calling it just that. Let's just call it the \"Interfaith Fun Zone\" for names sake. The name Park51 is a buzz word to diffuse the situation some it seems.

The hypocrisy is not prevalent in the sole idea of building this thing. YET....Where the hypocrisy will lie is after it's all said and done and Billy Bob decides to open his buffet and suddenly the Muslims become offended. Do Iknow for sure this will be the case? No. But I've seen it all too many times before. If you build this 51 on the premise of understanding and open mindedness you have to stick with that premise all the way to the end. This is where I have the problem withthe PC attitudes of today. When the shoe is on the other foot; no one wants to bend the other way. You would have toat least see wheremany Americans would at least be a little offended by the idea of this thing.

If you don't allow it to be built, however, it starts a slippery slopeof future projects tocome. If no \"mosque\" thenby the same logic you can't build a church next to an abortion clinic and on and on it goes.

If you had taken the time, Anon, to read some of my other comments you would see that I know it's not just a mosque. I don't give a shit personally if they do build the damn thing. It was a point to illustrate the flaws of groups of people (whether muslim, christian, gay, black) to behypocritical. You know as well as I do there would be bitching and moaning if what I proposed to build they actually built next to this community center. Could have used another topic but this one seemed just right.

It was antagonistic for a reason. It was an extreme case but helped nail the point home. It has nothing to do with bigotry. And no, my logic is not flawed. It's all about acceptance remember? There was a knee jerk reaction by most Americans (especially those on the right) to this thing being built which will be exactly the same knee jerk reaction many of Muslims and the like will have if you do build such places as I stated near this Park51. You can't do that. If we are to be truly PC you have to be even across the board and willing to bend as much as you are to push. Here in lies the problem. Most groups are too reactionary about their cause without stepping back to reflect logically both sides.

Now, let's be fair. This Park51 is an old Burlington Coat factory that the previous owners could not sell and has been, for a while now, been a place of prayer for some 400-500 Muslims. Also, the original Cordoba House was soon after built into the 3rd largest mosque in the worldat it's time. I also assume that if it truely is a inter-faith assembly hall we will see prayer rooms with rabbi's and priests alike holding their sermons. Easter mass one day and temple the next? Will we see a brass dome with a cross painted down the middle with a yamaka placed on top? If so, then kudos to those who master minded this project. I hope you are right and it goes off without a hitch. Like I said before; build it.

It may or may not hurt the "religious" sensitivites. It doesn't matter if it does or doesn't. Just as long as you have one mosque next to ground zero you have to be just as willing to accept what I proposed. If the shoe is on the other foot, you have to be willing to turn a blind eye.

You can have your PC but it has to work both ways. Go ahead, build your mosque near ground zero. This is America and if we have to set the precedence on religious freedom, I'll buy it. BUT! If I decide to build a Big Jim's all you can eat pork rib buffet next door with the smell of dead pig wafting in from the east then decide to build NYC's biggest all nude, full liquor strip club accross the street all the while selling medicinal marijuana and poppy seed buns I don't want to hear one fucking peep out of any muslim group or any group for that matter spouting off sensitivity issures. Not one peep!! Remember, it has to work both ways for it to work....God, I love the smell of burnt pig and strippers named Jade.

I'm most suprised by the lack of Brits not asking about Absolutly Fabulous. Didn't read all the comments but I think I only saw one or two mention it. That was the first show that popped into my American head anyway. When I was first introduced to it I beleive it may have already been in syndication. They used to run it all the time on Comedy Central. It was kind of a college favorite especially when we were all drinking and pulling bong hits.

This God fellow intrigues me. Didn't he have any parents? It sounds like he was an angry, spoiled rich kid left to his own devices. Maybe he had daddy issues always striving for apporval he never got. It also sounds as though maybe he had a dead beat dad who never was around and mom never pulled in the reins on her son. Good parenting starts at home people! If not disciplined at the home front and relying on the schools or nanny's to raise your children, this is what you get. All the fire and horses and stars falling and child eating bears. Just plain irresponsible. Some where along the way the system has failed this child.

I think the boys at NASA at least have a pretty sound understanding of science. Carl Sagan had even expanded about solor flares and their possible effects even if he didn't come up with the discovery. Didn't know the man personally but I think Sagan was held in pretty high regard in the scientific community.

NASA and astropysisists have done "substantial research" on some of the items on this list. Some are very real things and they simply present an educated hypothesis. None of these things are set in stone as to what will possibly destroy us. Researching 9/11 conspiracy theories only leads to more garbage conspiracy theories. It has nothing to do with research done by some of the top minds in their field backed by years of observation.
