tylerstanton.com : Arbitrary Thoughts

In honor of football season I wrote a post showing the similarities between the players on a football team and the people in the church. http://wp.me/pGZIl-SI

tylerstanton.com : Arbitrary Thoughts & Fantasy Football

1. Tim 2. Because I still haven't really figured out the whole "spread" thing (mostly because I stopped caring when I found out it wasn't a table filled with delicious treats), so I won't spend a lot of time over-analyzing my picks. Just making lucky picks seems to work well for my wife every March when she apathetically destroys me in our March Madness brackets, so I'm guessing it will work just as well for my football picks.

tylerstanton.com : T-Shirt Hall of Fame

Those And1 shirts were rad - I too had the "Were You Guarding Me?" one with the guy dunking...even though I was a scrawny little twerp who could barely dunk on my little mini goal and couldn't even touch the net on a regulation goal until midway through high school. I'd also have to add those Mossimo shirts with Mossimo spelled out in all the little dots - maybe it was just at my school, but it seemed like everyone but me had it.

Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : Getting font-tastic with faith!

Or to annoy teachers. One time in high school I typed up a paper and then converted it to Wingdings before printing it out and handing it in. I think it basically tripled the length of my paper. Using Courier New instead of Times New Roman is for amateurs.

Thanks a lot man - I'm sitting here in Barnes & Noble and can't stop laughing. That is one of those things that I have never understood - and if you do let go of the shift key prematurely, why wouldn't you delete the 1 at the end? Or if you really feel like you can't do without it, go back and change it to an exclamation. I understand that some thing need at least 14 punctuation marks and 13 just won't do (for obvious reasons), but at least take the .7 seconds to use the right mark. But I'm not bitter or annoyed by it at all.

Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : Shameless Saturday!

Maybe instead of being the first person to comment on this post, I can be the last person to comment. Then the last who shall be first will see it, go read my blog, and make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside like someone whose writing actually matters :) As for my blog, I like to focus on randomness. It has a little bit of everything. I write about stuff like: What can we learn from turtles? Why do we really get disappointed? Did Adam & Eve have skin before the fall? Is the world constantly getting brighter? I also post photos of funny/strange stuff that I find along my way. It's called A Life In The Day... It's at http://tymn.wordpress.com

trippcrosby.com : An Interview with Tony Dungy

Love the interviews - they crack me up. Keep up the good work with these and everything else. FYI - I introduced you to my wife who is a middle school teacher and she's been showing a bunch of your videos to her classes. Better than learning state capitals or some such nonsense I guess...
