Yeah, I thought it was Eve at first, but looking back, the speech bubble was coming from his side of the bed.

I feel the Poor Eve, but I also feel the Poor Clark too. He's been so focused on his career that he hasn't let loose and had fun and really connected with friends, and when he finally has a chance to, he's analyzing and interviewing everyone the entire time, he's too socially awkward to read Eve's body language, so when she makes it clear, he just launches into her, but he's so drunk or hot or awkward or whatever else that it's ultimately not that satisfying or connected and, and here he is, back focused on work again! I'd just love to see him relax and enjoy himself without analyzing it all to death. Who knows, maybe he even sees the drunken hook-up as something else he can write about, as part of this culture's experiences.

Happy 4th to you Meredith! This grilling party is perfect timing. Don and Eve have adorable chemistry - good wacky neighbors indeed! Clink!

Well, Aimee woke up and said, "I've rested my eyes, now I'm ready to fuck!" but Will was gone and in the kitchen. That made me think that she had fallen asleep before they had sex. I agree with you though, Aimee is definitely not out of the picture. I also like your assessment of Eve and Will's different responses. From Will's perspective, it just seemed like a friendly kiss that may have meant more to Eve. We'll see what happens in the next chapter!

Awesome! I didn't notice that until you pointed it out.

Pretty much the cutest kiss ever :) And Will never slept with Aimee - she fell asleep, and then he fell in love with cooking. We don't know what's going on with them at this point.

Aww, poor Eve. And she's not a fat lady!

"Simple happiness" and "I need to pay that forward for my children" reminds me of when he asked Victor to make him old. He's going to make an awesome dad and grandpa someday. Though I can't imagine Hanna as a mother right now. They'd probably be the most laid back parents ever. And as loving toward their kids as they are to each other :) Not saying that this should happen in the comic, but it's fun to imagine.

I love how relevant OP has been in the past few months, first the hilarious hurricane comic, and now an arc about Occupy Wall Street! It's great when then characters we love are dealing with current issues and struggles. Now I'll totally imagine Marek in a tent whenever I see news about Occupy Wall Street.

I think the last panel was spoken by Eve. I really liked this short arc. It was fun and meta, and I liked how Eve really opened up and reflected about herself - I think that's what she meant when she said the guy knows her. I don't think it was that he knows her so much, he was just challenging her and yet also putting her in a tv trope box, but this encouraged her to share about who she is and defend her identity, which made her feel more known by him, when actually she was becoming more known to herself. I like how he stirred these things up for her, almost like a talking, frustrating Victor.
