That is quite fast for a central shutter, which is right behind or inside the lens. Faster shutter speeds Re 1/350 on DSLRs are only accomplished by having a sliding gap, which causes "rolling shutter" effects that this one won't have.

But does the internal NR do something that taking RAW images and post processing them on a PC can't? (RAW does not include any NR pre-processing, I believe)

In other words, will the Mk II's sensor be more sensitive to low light even with RAW images?
