My happy place is sitting on the trampoline, music plugged into my ears, staring up at the blue sky, 20 years ago. It was a few days before I left Canada for good. My mom was up at the house preparing the roast for our last meal together and my Dad was pottering in his workshop. Whenever I want peace and quiet I go out to our own trampoline, lie back, look at the sky and think of my folks, who have now both passed away. It makes me smile to think of them.

Thanks for sharing the stealing present game, seems like fun. We put our tree up on or around 1 December. My two boys get to do everything but the lights and every year, we buy one special ornament to put on the tree. We've done this since 1997, so we've quite a few now! I've now started the tradition of making pumpkin pie for Christmas, because you can't just buy it here in Australia and it was something I always enjoyed, growing up in Canada.

I can waste hours playing around on picmonkey, and in the end I often choose the simplest filter. I like the last one the best.
