For blogging clients, MarsEdit is good, but I'd also suggest Blogo and ecto to check out. Don't forget to download Quicksilver (to quickly launch apps). I like NetNewsWire for feeds myself (over straight Google Reader). CyberDuck should be your go to FTP client, unless you want to pay, then I'd suggest Transmit. Skitch for screenshots.
