The Scratching Shed : Shining Lights in the doom and gloom

Yeah, that 15 minute "We all love Leeds" at St Mary's when we were 2-0 down, and the "There's only one Simon Grayson" at 3-0 were probably nothing. God we're shit at times...

The Scratching Shed : Leeds United couldn't afford Alan Smith - Bates

Spot on. At the risk of sounding pro-Bates, he's right on this occasion. But yeah, add a few thousand to the wage structure or offer bigger bonuses, and it'd appease the fans, keep agents on side, attract better players and probably improve the team. Unfortunately we have a stubborn bastard in charge who probably disagrees with anything that involves spending money where scaffolding isn't involved.

The Scratching Shed : Away Fans Views: Southampton (A)

I live in Southampton, and all the Saints fans i've spoken to seem to have only good things to say about us. I've spoken to people at work about the game, and when I drop the bomb that i'm sat in the away end, they just smile and generally wish us well for the season. Lovely bunch.

Was nearly sick when I saw the picture of Rids*ale heading this site earlier. This is much better.
