Untitled : Shut Up For A Minute

Great reminder as I am a run on sentence most of the time. I definitely need to shut up and listen more! I am constantly trying to quiet my tongue in prayer and in life. Thanks for the reminder

Thanks for sharing this perspective. I really had not thought about this or if I had heard it wasn't listening. I certainly have many moments when I am too busy seeking my own way to hear. May we be aware of His voice in all things!! Thanks Zee!
Michael Hyatt Blog : Avoiding the Tyranny of the Urgent

Thanks, this is sooo timely. I have had three conversations of how I do NOT do this and stay completely in the Tyranny of the Urgent. I even pulled the booklet out to someone to make my point... and did NOT read it. I have just pulled it out and will read . TFTTGWD. I am going offline!

Great message! Stings me a bit so yes I will grab a flashlight and hope God will make me trip over someone. I am such a wimp in this. May we each shine our light in our own way wherever we are today...putting in new batteries. Thanks!
The Observer : [stay as you are]

Thanks for the courage to be you! Honesty and transparency in who we are is so liberating isn't it? To be the person God and Life has created woven together for the benefit of all of us! I was 40 years old before realizing that I didn't have a clue as to who I was as I was too busy trying to be who everyone else thought I should be. I am who I am, no more, no less. ( check out the song No more, No less by Mercy Me on You tube) Good luck sharing who you are with others!

Michael Hyatt Blog : Why Plan B Is Often Your Greatest Opportunity as a Leader

What powerful lessons! I still am amazed at how God prepares us when we do not see what He sees. Pete wrote Plan B before the flood. God prepared Him to lead before the need arose. I have never printed a post to keep for future reference...this one is being printed. Thank you! What is God preparing each of us for today...I pray I am faithful so that I am prepared in the day of need to help God's people. Good stuff, thanks!

Michael Hyatt Blog : Three Reasons You Can’t Afford That High Maintenance Client

As a business owner and a sales person, I soooo agree. The temptation of the opportunity or pressure to meet a quota certainly leads us into taking on high maintenance accounts. I pray wisdom will guide me in the future to trust the Spirit and have the courage to decline. You make a great point on the opportunity cost of spending the exhorbitant time on them. The "wounded" person will also be the first to fire you and drop you for a nickel...thanks for the reminder!

Great message. As a NON-PLANNER, i am not always clear on that next best step. I need to focus on His will and His kingdom and be in tune that my next step is in His direction. Great post. Thanks!
