Yes, in fact many people in Japan do think that movie is titled "Road of the Rings". And...the movie "Hurt Locker" is thought to be either "Heart Locker" or "Heart Rocker" by many people. Also, many think the KISS song "Hard Luck Woman" is "Hard Rock Woman".

Yes, "home" and "form" (short for "platform") are two of many foreign words that are spelled the same when written in Japanese characters but differently when written in English. Some others: heart / hurt road / load / lord luck / rock bus / bath
