It was started by African American people. You might want to do a little research on Big Joe Turner, Little Richard, The Chords, and Chuckberry to name a few. Rock and Roll came from Blues, Jimi Hendrix even acknowledges his Blues roots. Many white people covered songs that had been created by black people. A Google search can enlighten you further. This is an interesting topic and it' interesting to hear how other people around the globe see the American history. Thanks for the read and the engagement.
