YES. GOD.

I hate-finished it. Then told everyone I knew that it wasn't very good because the people whose love we were supposed to care about succeeding WERE IN FACT NOT PEOPLE. They weren't even sketches of people. They were just an excuse to describe ice-flowers.

How incredibly brave of you to put all of this into words.

Definitely a range. A big chunk are short humor, I've done some political op-eds, some satire news, and even an advice column (which I think is the most humorous of all, since I'm unequipped to even live my own life, let alone advise others on how to do it).

I don't write a lot of short fiction -- it's just never been a strong suit -- but I would if anyone asked. Because, you know, I'll do pretty much ANY kind of writing someone asks for (see: my year stint being a ghostwriter for more-famous-than-me people supporting gay marriage...)
