I put myself on a book buying ban because I had to save money since I was going to study abroad for three months, but when I was abroad I bought a few books haha. I'm now back on the ban though as I need to pay back my loan 😫 I'm actually not that upset about it since I still have a lot of unread books left haha, plus my birthday is coming up so the books I really want I can just ask for my birthday 😋 Good luck with your ban! All your tips are really good (well, minus the last one :P). I find it also helps to not go into bookstores/look online haha, though when you already know there's a book coming out that you really, really want, it does become a bit harder to avoid them 😂

I was in a bit of a reading slump this month (mostly because I was tired) so I only read three books, but I did read quite a few comics 😊 Good luck on your reading competition haha, sounds like it's going well! I absolutely love The Good Place - I hadn't even realised that the finale is already tomorrow!

So many great fandoms! Ace Attorney, Pokemon, Card Captor Sakura... Oh and Disney of course! I envy your annual pass (though I live in The Netherlands so an annual pass would be useless for me anyway 😂) I'm so sorry that Bob Burgers's has been removed from Netflix :( Why did they only remove 3-5, and not the other seasons? That's a bit odd. Hopefully they'll add it again soon!

Really loved this one! It had been a while since I finished it when I wrote my review, so I had forgotten about the ending but you're right that it was a bit rushed. Can't wait for the next one either! I need more of Danny, Colton, Daphne and Cassie!

I never reviewed The Knife of Never Letting Go, because I just don't know how to haha. I considered reviewing the entire trilogy together, but I don't think I'd get further than 'FDSBHJS READ IT' haha

I really like Hades as well and Hera is probably my least favourite one as well haha, especially after Heroes of Olympus. She really didn't make me warm up to her. Also I NEED the 2nd Trials of Apollo book right now. It's going to be such a fun read! Or at least it really looks that way haha. Again thank you for doing my tag! :)

Her relationship with her dad was definitely my favourite aspect of the book! It was so heartwarming to read :)

YES TO ALL OF THESE! Especially the first one always bothers me, in tv and moves too, because just like you I don't drink or do drugs. I know a lot of teenagers do drink alcohol and/or do drugs, not all of them and it's nice to see that represented in fiction. And yes to happy families and boy/girl friendships!

While I don't read that many classics, I love them for the exact same reason! I also overthink a lot. I try not to, but so far I've been unable to stop it. I'm very good at coming up with the worst case scenarios and then I think up all the possible solutions, when of course in the end none of those scenarios actually happen *sigh*
